I pray we both are paranoid, Steve.

Alas I don't think we are.

The real problem is

no one can bear

to see this reality

Dr. Hall,

Thank you. You speak the truth. People will always turn their eyes away from tyranny. I read Fred Wellman’s Substack today. It was poignant and well worth the read. He’s a retired officer and Iraq veteran like me.

All the best,

Steve

Thank you. Persistence is a sadly overlooked quality in people today.

Steven, this is the most pointed -- and horrifying -- parallel between who is in power here and now, and who was in power there and then. Eichmann is more of a MONSTER than I ever could have imagined. No words. Nothing but Evil hung onto a skeleton. Incomprehensible how a human could have such sadism within him. I shared it on my substack. I hope that people read it. Your work is, as always, detailed and superb.

KD,

Thank you for your comments and for sharing. Eichmann is one of the worst of the Nazis. Sadly, he exists today in men like Miller and Homan.

All the best and keep up your great work.

Steve

Thank YOU, but my "great work" is simply sharing articles and columns that I deem important -- certainly not immense amount of research like yours!

Steven, I am going to post your column with the videos of the concentration camps. I have not been able to finish watching. But I think it's so important that the farther it spreads, the better.

Thank you so much. It is a horrifying but necessary reminder of what WILL happen here if the ICE lawlessness continues.

If only it were shown in high school history classes... One thing that people so often miss is that Jews were less than half of those killed in concentration camps. With so much antisemitism in the world (and I DON'T count any of the crap -- forgive my French -- that the orange sadist & co. count as "antisemitism"), I believe that a lot of people write off the concentration camps as only hurting "the other", i.e., Jews. Being made aware of the fact that non-Jewish political opponents in every occupied country, as well as the intelligentsia in those nations; Slavs and Poles (millions); Romany people (millions); disabled; homosexuals; and many other smaller groups of people were killed in similar, if not equal, numbers is important, IMO, anyway. That is shown in the part of the video I have been able to make myself watch.

I am certainly a minority as I show it in all of my classes. I wish that others would.

Yes, you are in a very tiny minority, I fear.

Sadly so.
