Before I get back to the infernal writing of my doctoral assignments have a few thoughts about two legendary entertainers, Carol Burnett and Willie Nelson. Both turned 90 years old last week, and despite their age they are still going strong. Nelson is still playing concerts and in 2022 Burnett had a recurring role in the final season of Better Call Soul.
I grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show, and remember beginning to listen to Nelson in high school. Both are part of my life and I am happy that both are still active, after all, many of us in our sixties recall so many of our favorites who have passed away, so many at far too young of age.
So to celebrate their birthdays here are some great moments from both. So please enjoy.
