Trump Just One Indictment Away from GOP Nomination

Former President makes Announcement on Truth Social

Former President Trump announced that he is very close to securing the GOP nomination as he traveled to Washington D.C. to be indicted again.

The twice impeached, and thrice indicted former President made the announcement on his Truth Social Site this morning. While he was obviously exited by the indictment by saying “the election” when he currently is running first by a wide margin in the GOP primary field, he is correct. The next indictment will probably happen soon in Georgia.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis defended Trump while quietly fuming that he could never secure the nomination because he had made it impossible for him to be indicted on anything. A close advisor speaking on the condition of anonymity said that DeSantis confided to a group of supporters, “It’s just not fair. I can do all that I can to violate people’s rights, and because I set the playing field I can’t get indicted for anything. What do I have to do, shoot someone on A1A?”

In Georgia, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis moved closer to indicting Trump on multiple charges for interference in the 2020 election and its aftermath in Georgia. Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat added to the pre-indictment excitement by promising to get Mug Shots of Trump, telling WSBTV "Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn’t matter your status, we’ll have a mugshot ready for you.” Sources close to the Trump campaign reported said that if the Mug Shots were made public that Trump would sell autographed copies on his campaign website and the Trump store.
