Fuck the Pro-Life BS, that’s only for the Unborn, if you are Postborn, You’re Screwed

General Telford Taylor who headed the war crimes trials in the American Zone following the trial of the major Nazi War Criminals by the International War Crimes Tribunal at Nuremberg made this comment during his opening statement at the trial of the Nazi doctors:

“A nation which deliberately infects itself with poison will inevitably sicken and die. These defendants and others turned Germany into an infernal combination of a lunatic asylum and a charnel house. Neither science, nor industry, nor the arts could flourish in such a foul medium.”

The United States has in a free and fair election chosen to infect itself with the same poison that destroyed the Nazi Thousand Year Reich.

I have said before on various social media platforms, Donald Trump intents to kill us all. But this is nothing new for the GOP, unless you exist somewhere between one moment after conception or still in the womb, maybe with a a condition that will kill you moments after you leave the womb or if your existence threatens the life of your mother. But, what the heck, that doesn’t matter now in many Red States, because even if you have no life signs and are still in the womb, or outside of the womb barely existing as an ectopic pregnancy, in which case you are basically dead anyway, your life matters, because every sperm is sacred. Now, forget your mommy’s life, her life isn’t worth the powder to blow her to hell, which, according to the theocrats is exactly where she will go if she aborts you, but I digress.

I could write about so much more tonight, but I need to keep this to fundamental attacks on our public health, the health and life of everyone that exists outside of the womb, for these are moral issues that also have an effect on our society and national security.

The truth is to the people that run the GOP, be they the theocratic Christian Nationalists, the “survival of the fittest” Ayn Rand following Libertarians, or the women hating misogynistic Neo-Nazis who found the GOP such an accepting home, have no regard for the lives of the Postborn, be they barely out of the womb, the physically disabled, the very elderly, even wounded warriors and disabled veterans.

Back in 2011 at a GOP primary debate, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer asked Ron Paul what should be done if an otherwise healthy 30 year old man who decided the cost of health insurance wasn’t worth it, suddenly experienced a life threatening medical emergency. Paul basically said, that it sucks to be him, he shouldn’t get anything because he didn’t purchase insurance. At that point Blitzer asked “But, Congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?” after which the Tea Party audience started yelling “Let him die!” Paul stammered out “No”, but the audience kept yelling “let him die”. It was chilling, I remember watching it. At that point I realized that the common members of the GOP weren’t really “pro-life”, and that despite Paul’s denial, his Ayn Rand philosophy actually is at the heart of the matter.

It only got worse. In Donald Trump’s first term he determined that the Senate overturn the Affordable Care Act. It came to a vote, and Senator John McCain, in one of the biggest votes of his career cast the deciding “no” vote on the bill, killing the attempt to overturn it, foiling Trump’s plan to take somewhat affordable healthcare away from millions of Americans using it. Since then the ACA has gotten even more popular, but Trump still seeks to find a way to kill it, while only having “a concept of a plan” to replace it. For him it’s really not about anything other than screwing people, even those who are his most loyal voters in poor Red States included who don’t have any other options for health insurance. The same is true for Medicaid, and maybe even Medicare which is the only healthcare that many retirees even have, and most retirees paid taxes for it from the time they got their first job, even military personnel pay into it.

But, that is just the beginning, and I’m not even talking about his Holocaust planning sociopath and treasonous picks of yesterday or earlier in the week. Today the Trump cabinet pick hits kept coming. First was his pick to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs, former Georgia Tea Party/MAGA Congressman Doug Collins. Collins is a Southern Baptist pastor who served as a Lieutenant Colonel, Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He made be deployment as a mobilized junior Chaplain to Balad Air Base in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has no experience in healthcare, military or civilian, or for that matter any education in health care administration or business. Thus, his resume as compared to almost every previous Secretary of Veterans affairs is extremely thin, including his military service which is paltry. Other than being a church pastor he has no management experience, but will have to deal with one of the most important and complex departments of the Federal Government which deals with the health care of millions of veterans, education programs for veterans, veterans home loans, life insurance, as well as service connected disability payments, and death benefits. Not only that, he is openly against health care for many women veterans related to anything dealing with reproduction and completely opposed to any recognition of LGBTQ+ service members and veterans. Additionally he is a 2020 election result denier, rabidly anti-abortion, and to top it off was reprimanded for using a picture of himself in uniform in 2020 campaign literature. He is an absolutely unqualified grifter who will work to harm veterans.

However, the hits keep coming. He also nominated anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and his Secretary of Health and Human Services. This makes his selection of Ben Carson, who however as bad a bumbling and incompetent administrator he turned out to be was at least at one time a highly respected Neurosurgeon.

Kennedy opposes any Federal government involvement in the development of vaccines, antibiotics, and other treatments to keep people alive and get us through the next pandemics. If you think COVID 19 was bad, there are a lot more deadly pathogens out there, few of which any nation is prepared to deal with. As bad as our response to COVID was, it could have been far worse had government scientists working with those in the private sector not developed and produced effective vaccines in record time. Don’t forget, because of unpreparedness and the refusal of many elected officials to enforce basic safety precautions over a million Americans of every race, creed, color, and ethnicity died needless deaths. At least count the United States, which has just 4% of the world’s population had 20% of the world’s COVID deaths. With Kennedy in charge the next pandemic will be even worse.

Kennedy opposes almost all vaccines, including those effective against Polio, Smallpox, the Measles, Rubella, Anthrax and Influenza of all types. These vaccines have saved countless lives, and in some cases even helped eradicate diseases.

We are still waiting for other nominees to fill other key positions regarding public health and safety.

Yes, this is Trump’s Administration of Death. It will end up making the Nazis look good. They actually had programs designed to eradicate cancers and prevent infectious, even if they used concentration camp prisoners as test subjects for their inhuman experiments, which were labeled as crimes against humanity after the war. But who knows, since the administration plans on setting up its own concentration camps maybe will they will conduct medical experiment on those inmates to benefit big pharmaceutical companies. In Trump and Musk world profit is the highest virtue. Musk, the wealthiest man in the world, said this week that democracy should be replaced by the rule of a few wealthy men. Even unlimited wealth is not enough for him, it is unlimited power.
