Well said, Padre. Donald Trump's words this Memorial Day are as a slap in the face to the entire nation, but especially to the very ones this day was meant to honour, those who gave their lives to protect and defend the nation, the Constitution, democracy.
OT, but it occurred to my older sister, younger brother, and me - all active Democrats - to ask WHY the Democrats in government didn’t put together their own budget, which would show what could be done without massive tax cuts for the wealthy and a huge deficit?
Obviously it wouldn’t be voted on, but would show what a Democratic alternative might be
