I fully understand those sentiments. I saw the devastation in Iraq up close and the destruction that Croatians were still recovering from years after their war with Serbia.

That 'Wooden-Headedness' of 4547 (not even deigning to give his name at this point, that's how angry I am.) is proving to be costly for everyone at both the home-front and abroad (increase in prices for goods of all sorts, maritime shipping lane restrictions, fuel shortages, murdered schoolchildren, etc.). All while aggressors (Putin, Netanyahu) or aggressors-in-waiting (Xi) are pulling his strings like a marionette, waiting for the perfect moment to cut them once he is no longer entertaining/useful to them. If there's one thing I've learned from my grandfather it's to pay attention to what isn't being said in addition to what is said. He used to work in intelligence gathering before the agency he worked for became compromised and hollowed out by 4547 and his acolytes, he was retired and deceased before 4547's tenure.
Keep your head on a swivel, and never compromise your values and integrity for false promises and delusions of power.
Indeed, 4547 is a fool who is being manipulated by a cabal of dictators and is too stupid to understand what is happening. It’s embarrassing. Of course my head is always on a swivel and I am always watching my six. I lift a glass to his demise. A nice 12 year Speyside Scotch. All the best and back at you.
