In 1950, Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson, who had not long before prosecuted the leading Nazi War Criminals at Nuremberg, wrote: “[I]n our country are evangelists and zealots of many different political, economic and religious persuasions whose fanatical conviction is that all thought is divinely classified into two kinds — that which is their own and that which is false and dangerous.” — Justice Robert H Jackson, American Communications Assn. v. Douds, 339 US 382, 438; 70 SCt. 674, 704 (1950)
Wow, Padre ... you've been on busy beaver!!! Slow down, my friend. Yeah, I know -- easier said than done. Been there, done that. Excellent post about the new Speaker, a man who I do not trust one bit. If he's the best the Republican Party has to offer, then the GOP needs to be broken down and rebuilt from the ground up, remembering our history and our actual values, not the ones they imagine. Take care, Padre.
